Collocation/ Correlation or Associative (साहचर्य):

we already know what is line, and we also know if we connect four lines of equal length we will make an SQUARE. if we connect six square we find a CUBE. This Principle is as simple. So did we learn from this? we made a collocation or an associative, to keep it easy to remember. this is not limited to geometry only you can easily create correlation between two things that can remind you for other one.

if you find difficult to remember a word meaning try to find out another word which is already in your memory and build and relation in both. So what will happen when you remember one word automatically correlative word will come to your mind.

Believe in your Memory

We see many people saying that my memory is weak. I can’t remember the things. And people repeat this many time a day.

That impact negatively to your mind, why? because if you yourself think that you have poor memory then you can’t improve it. So what we do is- we keep on reminding ourselves that we have a great memory. Make sure you have fixed the following lines in your mind with confidence.

if you think- you can’t remember this then certainly you won’t. So boosting up confidence must utter every morning that you believe in your memory. and your memory can work like computer. Don’t ever say that you have poor memory in front of anyone. If you say yes I can remember definitely you can remember with the help of this principle because belief definitely help for Better Learning & Memory.

Concentration (ध्यान केंद्रित करना)

Concentration is most important in your learning process and remembering the things. if are able to control your thought and able to focus on one thing at a time, than you will see “Mind is your Memory Bank“. Lets take an example- if you pull a donkey it will resist with more force, if you put a some vegetable and move the donkey will follow you.

Same way your thoughts will roam around so you need to try and create certain interest with the topic and you will see you can easily concentrate.

Remember you should remain on one topic at a time and your mind will store the desired data in memory.

Utilize all your six senses:

We already know we have six senses– Sense of hearing, Sense of Vision, Sense of Smell, Sense of Taste, Sense of Touch and sixth one – Sense of Kinesthesia.

When you include your senses in learning process, their effects cannot be forgotten with more vigor and ease and This will help you for Better Learning or Better Memory.

We all dream while sleeping. sometime we dream in day time and discuss with friends about the dream you came through. But have you ever tried to figure out whether dream was colourful or black & white?

Try to analyse whether the dream was coloured or black or white. Try to look carefully again what colour your dream was.

Then try to analyse whether your dream was clear or blurred? If it was blurred then try to see as clearly as possible on the screen of your imagination. This effort will have a very favourable effect in your memory. use colours to make your pictures and thoughts more memorable as much possible. So Colors are one of the best principle of learning and memory.

Exaggeration the things (बढ़ा चढ़ाकर प्रस्तुत करना)

This is feature of our mind easily remember the things exaggerated. and keeps them stable in our awaken mind. So why not should we use this feature of our mind in positive way.

We should utilise this feature of our mind in creative and positive way. So, as far as possible try to see the mental picture in the darkest form. Imagine how we would forget a fat man if we make a big image of his stomach like a vessel and face in the form of a football in the brain.

Image, Picture (चित्र )

Try to make a mental picture of whatever you wish to memorise. Make a mental picture of thoughts, dates, principles or any other thing.

”Because creating a mental image speeds up the recall process”

Sex is very common interest’s topic for everyone. Almost everyone has a better memory in this field. So why not utilise this positively. Whenever and whichever way possible try to use sex as assistant to your memory. It’s most relevant assumption on all Principles of Learning and memory, specially for teen ages, because most of teen guys distract to it.

Create Strange things or Event

Suppose you are a student and one day you class teacher comes to class room wearing helmet. He complete the lecture while wearing helmet. You would agree with me on this- that day will be in your memory forever. because that was very strange event.

This is the beauty of our mind that, it accepts the things very quickly which are strange or weird in other word. Why don’t we use this feature of the brain as a helpful in process of remembering.

Nothing in life is so useless or serious that it cannot be made interesting to remember. By the time we say something in a comedic form it becomes worth remembering. When something is comical, remembering becomes an enjoyable action. So with the help of this principle, you can improve your learning and memory.

Thoughts (विचार)

You will believe on principle that abstract thoughts are difficult to remember while tangible thoughts are quickly absorbed. It is necessary that abstract ideas be converted into mental picture and this mental picture will help us to remember those thoughts. Basically, we cannot store something in our memory unless we turn it into something that we can see or photograph.

Similarly as we need to convert foreign currency into Indian currency before depositing to the account. our mind also need some sort of image to store the thoughts.

In order to store abstract thoughts in our memory, it is necessary to change them into some form or shape, which we can understand, see, only then our brain will absorb it effectively.

These are most relevant principles of learning and memory, by following these you can definitely improve your learning and memory power.
