How to Get Ignou Degree & Migration Certificate: Know here Complete Process

Hello Ignou Students, Welcome to our blog, in this post we have given all the necessary information about how to get your Degree Certificate or Convocation. So, guys if you have completed your course with Ignou before 6 months of more then you are eligible to apply for your Degree Certificate or you can say Convocation Certificate.

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) held Convocation Ceremony every year and students who have applied for the convocation are awarded with Degree in this ceremony.  So, let’s start step by step process to apply for Ignou Degree Certificate-

How to Apply for Ignou Degree Certificate?

Step 1: Click following link to visit official website to Register for convocation- https://webservices.ignou.ac.in/convregistration/

Step 2: There is Last Date for Registration so you need to apply within that period, if date is over pls wait for next Convocation Ceremony to help.

Step 3: After Registration for the Convocation you need to Pay the Fee Rs.600 which is applicable for the Degree Certificate.

Step 4: Print the Acknowledgement Slip and Visit you Nearest Regional Centre on the day of Convocation, don’t worry you will be communicated for the same via SMS and Email.

Step 5: If you are unable to visit or you skip this convocation ceremony, you need to wait for the courier or post as the Degree Certificate will be sent via Post on your registered address.

How to get Ignou Provisional Degree Certificate?

Provisional Degree Certificate is issued temporary till the time final convocation is not issued. For all the Ignou Students, please note that you need not to apply for Provisional Certificate. This will be sent by post with your final year mark sheet.

In case you have given your final year and want to apply for another course for which provisional certificate is required, please visit your regional centre to get it from there.

Further you can apply for Degree Certificate following the steps mentioned above this paragraph.

Step 1: Download the Migration Application Form from this link- Download Migration Form

Step 2: Fill the form properly and Sign it.

Step 3: A fee Rs.500/- should be remitted by way of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of IGNOU and payable at the city of Regional Centre concerned.

Step 4: Attached Xerox copy of all your mark sheet issued by IGNOU, Provisional Certificate or Degree Certificate, and Submit to your Regional Director at your Ignou Regional Centre.

You can also send this Application form, DD, and Xerox of Documents by post to your Regional Centre, but you Must keep the Copy of all and Courier Slip.

If you have lost your Migration Certificate and need a Duplicate Migration Certificate the procedure is same as above.
